ABOUT WYMONDHAM TOWN TEAM
Wymondham Town Team
is a group of dedicated and talented volunteers who strive to improve community life for all - from residents, business, tourists and the wider community, by supporting a wide range of activities throughout the year.
Initially set up by the Wymondham Business Group with funding from South Norfolk District Council's Market Towns Initiative, Town Team has firmly established itself as a leading community group.
Although that funding stream has ended, Town Team have been able to use the initial seed money to carry on hosting events which bring in people far and wide to visit our Town's shops and businesses.
As a community led group, Town Team has the added attraction of bringing people together, forging friendships and enhancing our vibrant little market town.
Our Philosophy
As a community driven, volunteer led organisation, we seek to manage funding to put on events for the good of our Town. We are a not-for-profit organisation with a small board of directors who seek to work with those who want to enhance Wymondham.
This means working with local shops and businesses to draw in local residents and visitors alike to keep Wymondham buoyant economically while giving local people a sense of community.
Want to join us? We are always happy to have new volunteers join us in organising our events and you would not need to attend every meeting. . There is no age limit and we positively encourage people from all sections of our community to come and get involved.
