To our Wymondham community

In the first instance can we offer our thoughts and prayers to those of you who have been in anyway affected by COVID-19 and express our understanding if you are shielding or in lock-down.  These are challenging times for everyone and to quote Kett’s Books One Community One Book for 2019, ‘We Must Be Brave’.

Wymondham Town Team must take into consideration the current state of emergency across the UK and to that end believe that for the foreseeable future large scale events will not be taking place anywhere in the country.  We have already cancelled our Summer Fusion event, and it is looking very unlikely that Vintage Day 2020 or Wynterfest will be feasible either, and as both events need long term planning, we are assuming the worst.

As it is not possible to predict when large scale events will be once again permissible, we are not making any promises for 2021 either, but we do have ideas to help the Community celebrate when we come out of the other side of lock-down. Please keep visiting our page for up to date information.

Wymondham In Bloom for 2020 will be very different from anything any Blooming Town has seen in the past, but news will be available very soon as to how YOU can participate, and we sincerely hope that the whole community can 'come together' for this safe event.  Updates will be available very shortly.

Our Team are currently working very hard behind the scenes to support the Totally Locally Campaign, and we have considered other ways we can support our local business.  We ask that once we have our new initiatives in place, you too will support our local businesses to ensure they survive this very difficult time on the High Street.

So keep visiting this website, and look out for updates on our social media pages.

In the meantime, stay safe and keep smiling.

Best wishes
